Biography: I am currently an AL on L195 and L150. I have been teaching Italian at different levels, particularly A-Level for 18 years in London. I originally trained as a primary schoolteacher and studied for a BA (Hons) Russian and English, at the University of Ca' Foscari, Venice. I wrote my thesis on Boris Savinkov a Russian writer, poet, War Minister (1917) and formerly a terrorist. He officially committed suicide at the Lubljanka in 1925, it is likely he was killed because he posed a political threat to the Soviet establishment. When I moved to London I studied for a MA (Bilingual Translation), University of Westminster. I recently took part in the theatrical workshops in Kewenn, Brittany which are part of the Performing Languages project and found them very interesting.
